Based in London, Dominique is the first point of contact for our clients and handles all aspects of client relationships. Originally from Canada but now a British citizen, he is a UK registered architect and a graduate of London Business School with 12 years of experience in the UK construction industry.

Ranvir Khatau - Managing Director and shareholder, Mumbai

Ranvir has an engineering degree from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and has forty years of experience in Senior Management position in the concrete and cement industry. He has worked in India, the Middle East and the UK and is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers of India and a past president of the Cement Research Institute of India. He is the managing director of our office in Mumbai.

Avinash Shinde - Senior Engineer, Mumbai

Avinash graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Shivaji University. Before joining Teczoom, he worked for 2 years for Frischmann Prabhu, the Bombay subsidiary of UK engineering consultant Pell Frischmann. His main responsibility is to coordinate design information, check our drawings and supervise their production.

Staffing and recruitment

We have a fast-growing team of 17 detailers and 5 engineers in our Mumbai office. All have several years of experience working on UK projects using specialist detailing software.

RC Detailing Draughtsmen / Steel Detailing Draughtsmen / Job Captains:

We require civil draughtsmen (ITI certificate) to prepare structural detailing drawings and schedules. Two years of detailing experience and advanced Autocad skills are essential. Knowledge of British Standards and experience of British, American or European projects are desirable. For RC detailing, knowledge of CADS-RC software is a significant advantage.

Some of our detailers are also job captains and take on additional responsibilities to coordinate the production of work and handle incoming and outgoing communication with the client.

RC Detailing Engineers - Checkers / Steel Detailing Engineers - Checkers:  

We require civil or structural engineers with a degree or diploma in civil engineering to supervise the production of drawings. Main responsibilities are to study the instructions received from clients, organize the production of drawings, give instructions to the detailers, supervise the production, check the drawings after completion and ensure timely delivery of the work. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience on British, American or European projects, be familiar with relevant British Standards (BS 8110, BS 8666 and others) and be fluent in English, French or German.

Quantity Surveyors and Architects: 

We require quantity surveyors or architects or engineers with relevant experience to prepare estimates of construction projects in the UK. Three years of experience and familiarity with British practice are required. Experience on projects in the Gulf or the UK is an advantage.
